Easter Joy

Some believe prayer fasting and almsgiving are evidence of great holiness but I wonder if abiding in Easter joy is not a still greater mark of holiness.  For some the work of holiness began at the beginning of Lent and ended at Easter but I say that at Christ calls us to the impossible. He calls us forth from the grave like He called Lazarus. He calls us to the resurrection and to Joy. 

Perhaps even the pagan can look impressively holy and practice lenten observances but only a Christian can truly live Easter Joy.
